We've had beaucoup de rain this winter which makes for great hikes in the moist and magical landscape. The moss we discovered in the Santa Cruz mountains covering Los Gatos Creek bridge (19th century) and the mushrooms were in our own backyard -- Nisene Marks State Park:

I know. I've been absent, but with an excuse! I've been working like mad trying to get all of my treasures weeded out and organized. What to keep, what to sell? It's a major undertaking.
